The 2006 Bob
Anderson Classic will not now take place.
The tournament was
due to take place for the fifth year at the Fleetwood & Thornton
Clubs on 7 & 8 October 2006.
However, due to the
organisers C&A Leisure being dissolved, the event has been
cancelled.
"It is disappointing that we have had to reach
this conclusion," Bob said.
"I have tried, without
result, over recent weeks to keep the competition on the
books."
Colin Lloyd won the event last year,
defeating Ronnie Baxter 8-5 in the
final. |
